Lee RichmondJune 12, 1880: Lee Richmond of the Worcester Ruby Legs (National League) pitched the FIRST perfect game in baseball history. He did not allow a single opposing player to reach first base and the Ruby Legs won 1-0 against the Cleveland Indians.
