Our Trip to San Francisco
Last weekend, we hit the trail and traveled up to northern California for a few days. We spent one day in Sebastopol, where we toured the Tumbleweed Tiny House and enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of the "small town with the liberal vibe."
On Sunday, we drove to the always-fabulous city of San Francisco. We spent a lot of time in the Haight-Ashbury district visiting record stores, vintage clothiers, book stores, and an anarchist collective. We ate vegan Thai food for lunch, and later in another part of town, found a delicous vegan ice cream joint that I wish I could have brought home with me.
It was an all-around great weekend. Just being together and away from "the routine" was enough for me, but having the fun we did made it memorable beyond measure.
I love my family!
