What Do Vegans Eat For Breakfast? List of Veg Options
Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 9:16AM When I first made the transition from vegetarian to vegan, my beautiful friend Danette helped me in so many ways. Her example was a great inspiration for me and she shared many recipes, as well as advice on how to grocery shop as a vegan.
Recently, my dear friend Cass decided to go veg and wanted to learn more about how our family eats. While this journey is a constant learning experience for me, I am always thrilled to share anything I can. So when I compiled a list for Cass, it started me thinking that it might be a fun way to share some of this information with others who might wonder about vegan options.
Today, I thought I would start with breakfast items that vegans can eat. Please note that there are far more options available than what you will find below, but these are items that we enjoy. If you have your own favorites, please share them below.

Hi Jinxi. Yummy list! Thanks for the mention. You're a stellar example of veganism. Love you.
I think I'll have breakfast for dinner tonight. ;-)
Great list!!!
Hey Jinxi!!!
GOOD LIST!!!
MY favorite breakfast is like a breakfast burrito. It's easy to take with you if you need to, or sitting and watching cartoons!
I cook a lentil patty (basically a veg burger, but made with mostly vegetables)
once it's cooked, I fluff it and crumble it up in the pan so its more like a scramble than a burger.
I LOVE TOFUTTI!!
I lay a Lebanese flatbread over the scrambled burger as it's finishing cooking. then flip it over.
The bread gets soft and warm this way, so when you roll it up, its more flexible :)
I usually spread a little hummus or tofutti on the spine of the bread.
Put the scramble on top.
Add slices of tomato and fresh, washed spinach leaves.
Roll it up and eat it. It's amazing.
Other fun mix-ins:
Salsa
Any leftover Veggies
Vegetarian sausage bits
Other good Breakfast Burrito:
Warm flatbread, Peanut butter, sliced bananas, brown sugar and cinnamon, and a handful of granola, And maybe a drizzle of some maple syrup!
SO DELICIOUS!!!
Posts are so informative where we get lots of information on any topic. Nice job keep it up
